About me

Raised in rural Far North Queensland, and based in Geraldton, in the Mid West of Western Australia, I’ve spent a large part of my career living and working in regional Australia across a range of industries and the public sector. As the CEO of the Mid West Development Commission, my focus is on enabling the development of our region through collaborating and aligning with partners across all tiers of government, industry and community to create better economic, environmental and social outcomes.

Churchill Fellowship

In 2023 I received a Churchill Fellowship from the Winston Churchill Trust to research the impact of large-scale renewable & low-carbon energy projects on regional communities. Between April and June 2024 I will be travelling to the United States, United Kingdom and Europe to study wind, solar, carbon capture and storage and renewable hydrogen projects.
